QuestionAlthough I set a zone to run for 10 minutes, it shows on the control and runs longer -- say for 17 minutes. The next time it might be for 35 minutes. This is true for all zones and all programs except for manual settings. I've got an Irritrol KwikDial system. I will appreciate your expertise!
AnswerHey Susan, the Kwik-dial has a special function feature that allows you to select a higher or lower percentage for the run times. For instance, lets say you have set your valve(zone) #1 to run for 10 munutes, but the special function is set for 150% it would run for 15 minutes. It sounds like your special function is set for a higher percentage than 100%. Simply put your dial to the special function position, and set each program to 100%. If each program is set for 100%, then each valve on any program, should only run for the time you have programmed it for. Good luck and have a great day.
