Richdel odel 446PRi Controller. I set zones 1 thru 5 to run 30 minutes.  Zone 1 only runs for 2 minutes, then zone 2 thru 5 all run at the set 30 minutes.  Also where is the 9 Volt Battery I hear about on this controller?

Hey Jack, the slide  switch for valve #1 is not making proper contact, that is why it is reading 2 minutes and not the full 30 minutes. The battery is housed behind the door at the bottom of the controller. You need to take off the door to get to where the battery is at. This controller has not been made for at least 10 years, and has always been a poorly designed controller. This controller is not worth repairing, or cannot be repaired, it is probably time to replace the controller. A good replacement would be a Irri-trol "Rain- dial" controller.
