Using fruit in floral arrangements

Question
Help
I have a commission to do 10 floral arrangements in a square acrylic vases which are lined in cut lemons.  I am racking my brain to work out how to get the slices of lemons into the vase and stay put.... !! The arrangment has 9 long gerberas and foliage around their base.......Any ideas?

Answer
Usually when this is done, it's done with nesting vases - one fits inside the other, and the fruit is placed between the two.  It may be hard to find another square vase to do this with.  Another (trickier) option would be to use a block of floral foam inside the vase.  You should wrap it in a metallic film or foil or some sheet moss to conceal the foam.  Then place the lemon slices between the block of foam and the vase.
