Q: During this past spring, I noticed a plant growing in my front yard. I let it grow and it turned out to be a gourd plant! I continued to let it grow until I harvested the gourds last week. My bet is that a squirrel grabbed some gourd seeds and “planted” them in your yard for later enjoyment. These are called bicolor pear gourds.
