Hey! I just bought a bulb kit thingy..not important. But it can with a disc. And when I added water it filled up the whole pot like 10 times its size. How do they get the dirt so small/compressed?

Hi Alex, Soil (especially man made soil) has a lot of air space between the particles.  That's good for soil drainage and root development.  Compress it and remove the space and it takes up just a fraction of the original space which saves money on shipping and packaging.  Jim
