White leaves

Question
I have had my African violets for about 8 years. I have repotted them at difference times and about every 4 months cut the dead leaves and flowers off. Some of them bloom all the time and I have one I can't get to bloom. Recently though several of them their leaves have turned white. All white. They are still crisp. It is happening to more than one kind but seems to be worse on the violets that have a light green leaf to begin with. Not all of them are doing it either. They are all in the same window.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Answer
Laura,
This must be my week to get difficult questions!  I actually have never heard of this problem, and it is hard to find in several of my books.  However, if you go to the African Violet Society of America web page and click on FAQ, they will help with your question.  They specialize in difficult cases.  Go to www.avsa.org
I'm sorry I couldn't personally help.
