Flowering Corn Plant

Question
My Corn Plant is blooming.  It has a stalk approximately 12 inches with 12 shoots off the main stalk and several "blooms" on each shoot.  Where can I find pictures of a corn plant in bloom.  The blooms started out with a deep purple cast and are now turning lighter.  I want to know what to expect next.  Thanks Lois

Answer
Lois, your "Dracaena Fragrans" blooms sporadically with no timetable; in your search engine, type in " Dracaena fragrans in bloom" and the first site (BR bonline Brads Dracaena fragrans)has some nice pictures of it in bloom along with a testimonial on the bloom itself. The blooms are somewhat sweet smelling to a fault I understand, and this particular person cut them off for that reason. Nick
