i bought some sort of trachy palm at qfc grocery store in  the floral section. they are 4-5 feet tall cuttings that look like almost down to the root, but no roots, is it  possible to root these giant cuttings or they doomed to go to my yard recycle. what a waste of old palms.

Aron, are they multiple fronds or just one long frond? meaning is there a group of fronds culminating at a bottom junction, if so there is a chance, if they are just single fronds, then no, they are decorative only for as long as they retain their chlorophyll. Nick
