is there any way to move blooming vinca.  everytime i try, it dies.

Hi Sheila, many plants are more sensitive to transplanting then others, The key to transplanting one of these is to water it well prior , and then digging as deep and outward as possible to completely lift the plant with as little disturbance to the root ball as possible; if you have the new hole dug and waiting, its even better, for the time from its previous site to its new one should be as short as possible to further reduce transplant shock. Once  planted, water again and then cut back much of the crown so the roots can adjust with out the added pressure of maintaining a full crown. Nick
