dying sour cherry tree

Question
I have a sour cherry tree thats about 10 years old, i did not get any cherries this year, and the tree is dying. I did spray a pesticide this year but not much around the cherry tree, also there are other plants in the front yard that are looking the same way, except the holly bushes. I read about the fertilizer and really dont have the money to do that, but I also notice the leaves on the trees look like something is eating the tree as well, did i do this to my tree or is something else killing it

Answer
Since you did not say what was sprayed I really can not comment on IF it cased a problem. But since several different type  trees are effected it does sound like an environmental thugs like herbicide not a disease, Did you fertilize the lawn with a lawn fertilizer that contained a herbicide (weed and feed type) These will damage the trees. Usually liquid herbicides will be ok around trees.
