our roses grow seed pods from which i have gathered seeds. Is it possible to start rose plants from these seeds? If so when is the best time to plant and do these seeds need drying or special care? tks.

Here is a really good website that will show you how to grow roses from seeds. Just keep in mind that they will not be the same as the rose you took them off. Roses are like people and have many other roses in their background so you will probably get a lot of single pink roses but you could also get some interesting ones. Hope this helps.
