Question
I have some Peonies that need to be moved. I live in Missouri is it too late to move tem now? And if so how long after I dig them up do they need to be replanted?

Hi Sue,
Thanx for your question.  I live in Kansas.  I wouldn't move my peonies until late summer.  It will also take them 2-3 years to bloom again once they are moved.  They resent being moved but they'll survive.  I wouldn't recommend moving them until late summer.  If you dig them up, they should be planted immediately.  They can afford to dry out but I wouldn't take too many chances.  Hope this helps.
