unknown plant

Question
QUESTION: Hi Tom,
I have a plant in my garden that has come up larger every year now for about three or four years........I would love to know what it is.. heres how it looks and maybe you can solve this. Right now  it had large green leaves I would say they resemble a maple leaf but very dark green.... it isnt spreading sideways to overwhelm any other plants but it is has power because all those around it seem to be able to come up and not be destroyed,, the second year I after I got  it it had these very small flowers that look almost exactly like a dogwood bloom..... Ive searched all over so hope you can help or send me to another volunteer who can........ thanks
madge  PS I may have asked this before but am really interested now since the leaves are so nice I may want more. I have never tried splitting perennials.

ANSWER: Hi Madge,
Thanx for your question.  It might be Kirengeshoma palmatum (yellow wax bells).  Take a look at this site because there are pictures.  If this is not the plant give me a more precise description (e.g. height, color of flower, when does it bloom,etc.).

I hope this helps.

Answer
Thanx Madge.  If you will go to http://www.localharvest.org/farms/M14089

It is a webpage I have at Local Harvest a website for small family farmers.  The URL is for my small farm.  Go there and send me an e-mail and I'll send you my personal e-mail and you can send the pic of your plant if you can't do it through this site.  I just don't want to post my personal e-mail.

thx,
Tom
