orchid identification/care

Question
Hi Wayne,
I recently purchased an orchid at the Ottawa Orchid Society show. The tag in the container reads "Asp. epidendroides X Odm. San Clementi".  Can please you tell me what this is and how to care for it?  Being a pseudobulb can I treat it the same as my cymbidium?  I also purchased a paph which is living with my phals - is this o.k.?  Thank you very much for any info you can give me.
Kathie

Answer
Kathie, thanks for your question.  Aspasia epidendroides and Odontocidium San Clemente are both members of the Oncidium Alliance.  It will do well in a standard orchid potting mix.  It can grow under cymbidium conditions.  Your paph should do well under phal conditions.  These do well with an annual repotting with the ondet of new growth.
