star Black gold orchid with no care instructions. Help!!!
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. Eleanor

Answer
Hello Eleanor,

Your Brassidium is a inter-generic hybrid between Brassia and Oncidium orchid plants, as such it likes very similar care between the two.

You didn't mention where you live but here are some general care and growing guidelines.  Grow it where it will receive bright morning light with filtered light from mid day onward. Temperatures between 55F to 85F, humidity above 40$, some light air movement.  While it is actively growing from spring through mid fall, water enough to keep the potting media moist but not constantly wet, then from late fall through winter keep it on the slightly dry side.  Feed it lightly (about 1/2 the suggested fertilizer amount on the container) during active growth and no feeding in winter.

Hope this helped.
