cant identify a house plant

Question
I was recently at a luncheon and the lady had a house plant that I fell in love with. It is on her coffee table in a 8 inch pot. It had long leaves with some standing straight up and some slightly bending over. The edges of the leaves were rippley almost the look of a prepared pie crust edge. She said she thought it was some kind of fern but the leaves were solid with the exception of the wavy edges.  I can't find a picture of the plant anywhere on the internet. I would appreciate your help.

Thank you,
Myra

Answer
Myra,

It sounds like maybe a variety of begonia. Try putting begoinia in Google and go to images and see if you can find it. Without a picture it is very hard to identify a plant from a description. If you could send me a digital picture of the plant I could probably identify it.  Good luck.
