yellow spots on a corn plant

Question
Could you please tell me what causes yellow spots on a corn plant? Thanks!

Answer
Hi Cherri,

There is no single cause of yellow spots on corn plants. Here are some of the possible causes:

Allowing the soil to get too dry.

Allowing roots to wander out of drainage holes and not cutting them off.

Using hard water.

Over-fertilizing.

Too much sun.

If you need further information on any of these, let me know.
