Plant ID (Aglo?)

Question
Hi Will,

Can you please identify the plant in the photo I emailed you? It looks very similar to my Aglaomena but the leaves are considerably thicker and stiffer. Thanks!

Morgan

Answer
Hi Morgan,

Thanks for the photos. Not only are the leaves thicker and stiffer than an Aglaonema, but they also lack the midrib that Aglos have.

I believe that your plant is a Cordyline terminalis (Ti) It's foliage looks like an  Aspidistra, but its stem dictates otherwise.

Please let me know if any of this is unclear or if you have any additional questions.
