artemisia silver mound

Question
I got the divisions(roots), they look ok in the pots (I could see the growing) but now in NJ is winter time and I keep them indoors ... are they going to be ok the whole winter indoors or what should I do?

plus I have a Jasmine Topiary Pink,

Answer
Liliana,

The Jasmine Topiary Pink is fine indoors. Give it as much sun as possible. Water it when it gets dry, do not overwater it. The artemisia silver mound is not fine indoors. It is a  perennial and needs a dormant period in the cold. If possible move it to sunny window in a cold unheated garage for a week then when the weather is supposed to be nice for several days plant them in the ground outdoors. Don't be concerned when they die back to the ground. That is what is supposed to happen. They will sprout again in the spring. Indoors they will die and not come back. The sooner you can get them outdoors in the ground the better. Good luck.
