Question
Is the Massangeana Cane poisonous to cats?  I have two cats and my mom just bought this plant.  Can you please help us with this?

Yes, they are on lists of plants that are poisonous to cats. Generally cats know what is poisonous to them and stay away from it. I suggest that you keep the plant in a room the cat does not go into to be on the safe side. Good luck.
