My father gave me two outside pieces from his Aloe plant--How do I get them to root?

Just insert the base of each piece into a pot of sandy cactus soil and barely water it. The roots are there just beginning in the base of each piece and they will be fully rooted within a month. Do not water more often than once a week and makee sure you use sandy soil and not a lot of water. Keep them in doors in a very sunny window with drapes or blinds open all day. Good luck.
