Pests & Diseases

Question
Hi Sam.

My problem is that l have a wonderful"unbrella plant"and it is growing great. But just over the past couple of weeks or so l have noticed on the new leaves that are forming there are tiny brown spots appearing. Some the size of pin -heads.This plant is getting plenty of good sunlight now that the weather has become much warmer it is positioned outside the house on the window ledge where it gets lots of warm sunlight in the mornings yet is shaded in the afternoon from the heat of the day.I am feeding now once per week and watering almost every night depending on the heat of the day.

Please can you help!

Thanks,Paul.

Answer
Without knowing what kind of plant it is, and examining it myself it's hard to tell. However, I might have a solution. Take a Q-tip and dip it in rubbing alcohol and rub it on the brown spots, if it's a pest it should kill it and you can scrape it of, if its a Disease, contact me again for more help! Sorry, for the inconvenience.
