Novocaine plant

Question
I recently purchased a plant that I was told was a novocaine plant. I did chew on a leaf and it did numb my mouth for a while. My question is if there is a way to send me a picture of this plant. The other is am I able to make it into a tea. I have three hernia disks and I am in constant pain. Will making a tea out of this plant help or would it be toxic to turn it into a tea? I don't need my organs falling asleep :) Thank you for your time and considerations on my question.

Answer
Rebecca:
I have only grown the toothache or novocain plant called spilanthes acmella. It has yellow or yellow with red dots. It is used fresh for any mouth pain or sores. I can send you more about it. if you send me your e-mail addy. No info on using this as a tea, but used in salads.
