Queensland Sundew repotting

Question
Three questions:

1.) I just repotted my Queensland Sundew and in the process managed to
smear most of the dew off its leaves and get some peat moss stuck to them.
Will this plant recover? Is it OK to wash some of the dirt off the leaves with a
syringe?
2.) Will you be offering the tropical butterwort soil mix for purchase again? I
notice it's not on your website anymore.
3.) When will you be at Portland Saturday Market again?

Answer
Hi Eric,

1) This happens to us as well.  Getting soil on any sundew is sometimes unavoidable during the repotting process.  You can either rinse it off or pick it off with tweezers.  Otherwise, you could just leave it there and wait until new leaves develop.

2) Butterwort soil will be back online April 1.

3) Our season at the market begins on Memorial Day weekend.  For more information about our public events, click on the Calendar of Events link on our homepage: http://www.cobraplant.com

Good growing!
