Mysterious Ping.

Hello

    I recently purchased this mysterious Ping. from a retail store and I was wondering what kind of Ping. is it the label did not have any name on it.

Hi Justin,

Most likely this is Pinguicula primuliflora.  Its leaves look like that species, it's just been in very low light for a long time.  It's also possible it's P. caerulea.  Both look similar.  You can tell them apart when they bloom.  P. primuliflora has purple flowers with a yellow center, and P. caerulea has tall flowers with blueish striping.  Both are from the southeastern U.S.
