Wind and sarracenia

Question
My sarracenias have been exposed to rather high levels of wind, my excellens seems fine of not slightly wind burned but my dana's delight has bent right over, it hasn't snapped, it's practically upside down and rain water is getting into it. Is this a problem? should I try to keep them upright?

Answer
Hi Danny,

It's not a problem in the sense that it will kill your plants; it won't.  However, they don't look very good when this happens.  I would try and see if you can find a location that shelters them more from the wind.  I've sometimes placed plants on the sunny side of a fence or other structure that will block the wind, yet they are still getting sun.

Good Growing!
