Tarnok plant

Question
In the instructions you gave me a few days ago you said that the trap leaves leaves on my "Tarnok" plant would die and new ones would emerge strong and healthy.Once this happens, how long will it take for the new ones to emerge? (The plant is in a place with some good sunlight).

Answer
Hi Ethan,

If your plant is in good conditions it takes about a month for new pitchers to form.  This depends heavily on temperatures and sunlight.  Just a reminder, for your plant to look it's best it should be in a place that gets enough sun to raise vegetables.  It's what I call the tomato rule.  Wherever your thinking of placing a Sarracenia, you should be able to grow a tomato plant in that spot.  If you couldn't, it's not bright enough for your Sarracenia either.

Good Growing!
