Question
Hi, I will be so happy if you can answer my question because I know nothing about plants... People say i could kill a fake plant, thats how bad this is. My boyfriend knows this so for Valentines he thought it would be cute to get me a couple little cactus from walmart, I think, so now I have no idea even what they are. They are small about 2 inches already in soil, one is red and one is hot pink. They dont have any flowers the stalk is a deep green, no stickers but on the colored part and they are very little ones. Thats all I know and I'm sure I sound crazy now but please help if you can.

Keep in mind that the life span of this type of plant it generally not very long, so don't be disappointed if your plants don't make it past a year. The reason is they are not naturally that color, the link above goes into greater detail. Good luck!
