bugs- ???

Question
I have a balcony planter with several of the large flowering tobacco plants, large green leaves, slightly sticky and they generate trumpet flowers late in the season, I grow them every year.
However, there are now 2 different little bugs or ticks or .....

One is orange  - red, and doesn't seem to move, the other are tiny, white, and they move around, these guys are spreading across all

the leaves, never saw them previous years,
how can I eradicate them ?
I am totally an amateur and will appreciate some direction here.

Answer
Jim:
Can you send me a photo of these critters? It is near impossible to give you an accurate ID w/o a photo. Try to get as close as you can to take the photo and review it on your computer to be sure it is in focus before you send. An out of focus photo is not helpful at all.  Also, give me an idea of the size- maybe compare it to a common object.

Are these two insects causing an damage that you can see or are they just there wandering around?

Regards
Steve
