Hamlin Orange Tree Rust Color on Oranges

Question
I have several Hamlin Orange trees, approx 8 years old, planted in my backyard in Lakeland Florida.  The trees were planted in the spring this year.  I have noticed a rust color on several oranges on the North Side of one of my trees.

Could this be a disease?

Thank you

Answer
Hi Rick..  Sounds like you have some citrus rust mites which would turn your fruit into color.
You should apply a miticide to rid your tree of this problem.  I would use Pure Neem Oil Spray which is a miticide and will also take care of other insects that may harm your plants.  It is natural and will not kill anything but will alter the flavor so bugs go else where.  The other great use of this product is that it does not wash off for lasting control..
