Have a beautiful robellini double that is having problems.  One side is completely dead and the leaves show some insect activity as they are being chewed on...have not checked soil PH and can overwatering be a problem for Robo's

Hi Larry, I do not grow this palm and did some checking and this is what I found, hope it helps... kathy

If your palms are located in a windy area, the leaves could be drying out; moving the plant to a more sheltered area could solve the problem. Roebelenii palms prefer a moist, but not wet soil, and a humid environment.    

It could possibly be a nutritional deficiency,  there are fertilizers made especially for palms and you should be using them as directed, especially in the summer,
