Mold on plants

Question
I have mold on Gerber daisies, angel trumpet, marigold, digitalis,
butterfly bush, asters, and almost all other plants, except cosmos,
sunflower.  It is not powdery mildew.  I have treated with dursban to no avail. The mildew does not rub off, but you can take a knife blade and scrape it off.  It is killing almost all my plants.

Answer
Hi Jesse,  Sounds like a fungus and I know it will make a lot of the plants you mention look much better again.  If you check out the website www.atomicgrow.net you will see others that have used it on their northern gardens with great success.  kathy
