Can one over water tomao plants that are in a large clay pot of about 13 inches?

I'd be glad to get any clay pot tomato growing tips that you have.  Thank You !

Dear Cleveland Young:

Yes, you can overwater tomato plants.  Excessive watering can produce a calcium deficiency that usually results in blossom end rot disease.  Suggest you water, a good soaking at least 1 inch of water,  on a regular basis, ie: every 2 days during the growing season.
