Question
My neighbor on my south recently planted a series of 8 foot spruce trees 3 feet from my fence and arborvitae hedge.  Will these trees damage my fence and will my arborvitae hedge still grow with these trees so close?  I am also concerned because I have a passive solar home and these trees are in line of all my morning sun during the cold months.  How long will it take for them to get to 20 feet?
