Alberta Spruce

Question
Hello! I have 3 beautiful miniature Alberta spruce pine trees that were planted last year in our front yard of our new home and set off the simple landscaping that made our yard look so nice, we recently had a storm that uprooted a huge tree across the street and it landed in our front yard
on my trees, but did not break or crush the,but there were buried under the large branches that were full of leaves since then they have started to appear to be dying, they are starting to loose their fullness and they are turning brown, I have pruned them and watered them they are struggling, I am thinking they may need fertilizer or food but not sure what I should get. Could the tree have had a parasite or something in it to cause this affect on my trees?  HELP!

Answer
Hi Carin,
Thanx for your question.  Allexperts has a tree expert named Jim Hyland who is much more qualified to answer your question on your Alberta Spruce.aa  Jim is listed under the Trees forum.  Jim worked for the Forestry Service and will has much more experience than I with trees.  I hope this helps.
Tom
