How do we hook up the sprinker valve to the RD600 and turn it on manually?

Answer
To wire the valve you simply connect one wire to the "COM terminal and the other to a zone number terminal.
The instructions for manual operation should be on the door of the controller. Though I could re-type them here, I've included a web link to the owners manual of the controller.
