Hunter Sprinkler Question

Question
Hi,
I have a Hunter sprinkler system and just today noticed that the sprinklers
were not running when they were supposed to.  I checked the unit and it
actually showed that each station was running, but no water was being
delivered.

Water in and out of my house is available fine, any suggestions?  I saw on
another question that was similar you mentioned a "module", not sure if this
could be same issue.

Answer
Matt,
The circumstances you describe indicate there is no water available, which you've already checked. Or, there is a problem with the controller or common wire. First I would try to manually turn on a valve in the yard. You should have a few green covered boxes in  your yard. The valves are in these. Turn the solenoid CCW about 1/2 turn. You should have water flowing. If not, then you aren't getting water to the system.
Next, you'll need to check the voltage. Turn on zone 1. The test the voltage from the "COM" terminal and the zone 1 terminal. You should see 22-26 volt, if not the the controller is the problem. If the controller is supplying the correct power then the only thing left is the field wiring. Since all of you valves are not working it probably is the Common wire which isn't connect or possibly all the wires have been cut.
Try these things and reply back with your findings.

Matt
