I have an old sprinkler system that has been updated,but I'm finding it difficult to find Rain Jet Series 8800 (full circle) replacement heads.  Can you help me find a source or a comparable sprinkler head?

You will probably not be able to find the Rainjet 8800.  I do not know the spec's for that sprinkler, so what you need to do is determine what the distance of throw is, and the gallons per minute at the nozzle is, and match it with one of the current brands.
