Hi,

I tried to start up my rain jet sprinkler system this morning, and I got an error on the controller (its a RJC 4 controller).  I followed the directions to program it, but when it would hit the automatic start time, I got an error.  The clock would turn from 8:00 to 1A01 at 8:01 and nothing would happen(the scheduled start time was 8:01).  I tried it a couple of times, unplugged it and started it back up, but no luck.  I kept getting the same error.  Do you know what is wrong?  Thanks.

If you did the reset with the battery backup still attached, then try it with the battery removed.  Try cleaning the circuit board with some canned air and a very soft brush, and then restore power.  If this doesnt help, it may be time for a new controller.
