Hunter System problem

Question
Josh, I have a Hunter (Pro C) Irrigation System control unit that does not recognized all of the attached zones when turned to the "set program start times" selection on the dail.  There are 10 units connected but only 1 thru 4 register under that selection.  12 zoned appear to be available under all other settings.  Additional, I have been unsuccessful in setting the timer to water automatically.  I am fairly comfident that I have set the system properly.  Right not program A is set to water every day (odd and even) for 5 mins per zone.  The time and date are current.  I set the system to RUN for 1915 and nothing happends.  Note: the manual side seems to work fine.  The P/MV screw on the terminal board (sprinkler zone side) has no wire connected to it??  and   the ground screw has no wore connedted to it however the main ground wire (yellow and green) is connect near the pwr in terminal board.

Question...what in the interval setting for on the display?

I assume that I work properly at some point but I recently moved here.  The house was build in 2006.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide me.

Ed

Answer
first let me offer these 2 websites for you:

Here is my thinking on this issue:

(1)There are multiple start times, run times, and water days etc that are in different programs for the zones you are having trouble with. What I mean is that zone 1 may have time in program A and program B etc... The best way to remedy this is to unplug the controller for 5 minutes and remove the battery. when you start it again hit the 'reset' button located inside and clear the whole dang thing of all its memory. Re-do your program at this point.

#2# another problem may be that you have a wire that has been cut or has come loose on one of the valves and if it is a common wire that came loose several valves may be affected.

If you cannot get the to come on after resetting and reprogramming ##1 above# then go to every valve location and make sure the wire connections are secure/tight and have been done with a waterproof connection.

Let me know how that works and if you need additional help - good luck!
