Sprinkler system will not work

Question
I have a Hunter Control Box and system that was installed in our new house purchased 7 years ago. it has always worked perfectly until this year.  We had a very bad cold spell this winter in Florida and my sprinkler system will not work via the box.  I have tried to fix and eliminate the various things that could be wrong and now am at a loss.  I can manually turn each zone on from the valve but they will not turn on from the box.  When I test the box control for each zone to I can hear the sylenoid at the valve pop (click) but it will not start sprinkler. When I turn valve open manually it starts sprinklers though.  I have even tried it after by passing the PVB and still none of the zones will come on via the box.  We have tested the wiring with meter and it does not seem to be a wiring problem. Again none of the zones will come on. Pleae help

Answer

selenoid test
Looks like the Hunter controller dead.
Test each selenoid: A)disconnect the two wires from the ones who comes from the controller, use 3 9v batteries (see attached picture) connect the two selenoid wires to each free battery contacts, if the valve opens the controller is not sending the necessary voltage to the selenoid, have it repaired at hunterindustries.com or buy a new one.

Good luck
Guillermo
