Your vase has a very retro 60's look...so in keeping with that theme, you may want to put a "pin frog"  in the bottom of your container to hold the flowers. (You can find them at floral supply stores, or garage sales!) I would try a bunch(10) of gerbera daisies or dahlias in bright colors, or a bunch of tulips would look great in that vase. You just push the flowers into the pins and it holds them in place.  Add water and pebbles or rocks to cover your pin frog (if you like)and you're good to go.  Super easy!
