flowers x2?

Question
Hi again,
I'm wondering if it is normal for a d.xMarston dragon to flower two times in the same growing season.
The sundew is right now outdoors with full sun, a soil mix of 1part perlite to 1 part peat moss and I water it with tap water (following your e-book instruction about using tap water). The plant had been with me since February 2012 and already had flower once in March/April. I live in zone 11

Answer
Hi Edmund,

I'm not sure if it blooms twice a year, or just whenever it has the resources, such as catching lots of bugs.  In the nursery I find them blooming fairly frequently.  In your area it would probably take a year of observation to see how it responds to your seasonal cycles.

Good Growing!
