corylines

Question
If my 6 year old cordylines are leggy but have beautiful growth on the top 2 feet,
is there anyway to score the truck, wrap with moss and try to generate roots and
obtain a shorter, vigorous plant?

Answer
Hi Sabine, not really, this is their normal growth pattern, what I usually do is top them, and stick the cut section back in the ground next to the bottom section, where they will root and the stem of the previous plant will send out new growth from the cut. Nick
