Sprinkler Head

Question
QUESTION: Do I need a special key to adjust how far the water shoots out on my sprinkler head, or can I just use a phillips Screwdriver.

ANSWER: IT DEPENDS ON THE TYPE OF HEAD. DO YOU HAPPEN TO KNOW WHAT TYPE YOU HAVE? IF NOT TRY DESCRIBING IT TO ME. IT WILL EITHER BE A SPRAY HEAD OR A ROTOR. A SPRAY HEAD CAN BE ADJUSTED BY THE SCREW ON THE TOP WITH A SMALL STANDARD SCREWDRIVER - NOT A PHILLIPS. A ROTOR WILL NEED AN ADJUSTMENT TOOL. LET ME KNOW WHAT BRAND AND MODEL IF YOU CAN.

QUESTION: I think it is a spray head,I attached a picture of it.

Answer
Looks like a K-Rain rotor head. There is an arrow with what looks like a plus sign on it. I believe a small allen wrench is what you need for this head or possibly a small standard screwdriver. insert the tool where the plus sign is (its actually an access point for the adjustment tool) and turn clocwise as if tightening. this will bring in the distance the head is throwing. If you do the adjustment while the head is operating it will be helpful. The dial in the top middle controlls how far around it turns. Give that a shot and let me know if you need more explanation. One of these may also be helpful depending on the model you have:
