Potted Plants

Question
I have tries to grow some stimmy plants in pots.
I fertilize a mixture of soil & potting soil, in the pots.
The plants grow very well for a time, but suddenly, within a few days die. They look great & then suddenly start turning brown or yellowish ( from  day to the next )
Just wondering what might cause such a problem?

Thank You for any answer
Richard

Answer
Hi Richard, Hard to tell what the problem is.  Every type of plant has different needs.  Some need full sun, some shade.  Some need perfect drainage, some like the soil moist.
Do a little research into the type of plant you are growing, then try to duplicate it's need.
The most common cause of death in potted plants is over-watering and insufficient light.  No plant wants to die before it's time, but eventually they will, with improper conditions.  Jim
