potted plants

Question
Im currently growing a variety of different plants that have shed several leaves on lower branches. I removed lower branches as i felt that the light(Artificial) was not reaching these leaves. Im concerned the my plants may be pot bound and require re-potting. Is it possible to continue the flowing stage whithout re-potting? And if i do need to re-pot, will this have an adverse affect on the plants as i dont want to hamper / destroy the flowing stage.
They are currently in 12 litre pots. Thankyou in advance for any advice

Answer
Hi Kevin, it sounds like they need to be changed out into larger containers and a new soil base; if you pop out the entire root bound plant and gently free up the bound roots , it shouldn't effect the plants much at all, just make certain you give them a good watering after changing them out. It also sounds like they aren't getting enough light, you may want to kick that up a notch also. Nick
