Snowball bush seeds

Question
I just bought some snowball bush seeds off of Ebay.  Then I read on a website that you can not grow a snowball bush from seeds.  Do you know if this is true?  Thanks.

Answer
HI Leslie,
Thanx for your question.  The seeds are difficult to get to germinate by other than natural methods.  It will require multiple warm/cold periods in order for the seed to germinate.  This is a tedious process but it can be done.  You will need to plant the seed barely covered with soil in a pot and keep the soil moist but not soggy.  Put in the fridge for 60 days and then bring the pot out to a warm room for 60 days.  After that, you will need to return the pot to the fridge for a week then back out to the warm room.  Keep doing this until the seeds begin to germinate.  Otherwise, you can plant them outdoors in a protected place.  It may take a couple of years for them to germinate.  I hope this helps.  Unfortunately, some people will sell anything on Ebay and not give you all of the details.
Tom
