Question
I received my royal empress tree and upon arrival and packaging the top was bent over, the top was not completely broken just looked like it was a crease from being bent over, my question is can i try to tape it to save the top or not?

Hi Kimmie,
Thanx for your question.  I doubt if taping will help.  When a plant is bent like that the cambium, a vascular tissue was probably damaged and water and nutrients could not pass freely.  You can go ahead and tape if you like, just in case.  But, I would guess the damage has already been done.  Hopefully, the bottom half of the plant is still functioning.  I hope this helps.
