Propagating weeping ash tree

Question
QUESTION: Is it possible to propagate a weeping ash tree from it's seeds?

ANSWER: Hi Bob,
Thanx for your question.

Soak ripe seed in water, let stand in water for 12 hours.  Plant half inch deep in pot and keep warm (about 70癋/24癈) for 30 days, and then cold stratify for 60 days (either outdoors when temps are consistently below 40癋/4癈).  Or place the pot inside a large plastic baggie and keep in the fridge for 60 days.  Germination should occur in the spring or 30-90 days after taking out of the fridge.  I hope this helps.

QUESTION: Thank you. I have managed to germinate several seeds but was not sure if they would reproduce the weeping habit of the parent tree.

Answer
Hi Bob,
Thanx for the followup.  The weeping habit is considered a "sport" or a genetic mutation.  You will probably get a mix of the germinated seedlings of both the weeping habit and the normal tree.  I located one company that sells the seeds of the "sport".  Good luck.
